Fink - The LowSwing Sessions VINYL AUDIOPHIL AAA
Im April 2023 ging der britische Sänger Fink mit dem LowSwing Records-Produzenten Guy Sternberg ins Studio, um das aufzunehmen, was später als "The LowSwing Sessions" bekannt wurde. Wie Fink später schrieb: "Die Session war der Katalysator der musikalischen Sehnsucht... ein paar Tage in einem echten Aufnahmestudio mit ein paar Freunden, stellaren Session-Musikern und nichts, woran man denken musste, außer zu singen und zu spielen."
Die "stellaren" Musiker, von denen Fink spricht, sind einige der aktuell weltbesten Musiker: Tim Lefebvre (David Bowies Bassist bei Black Star), Drummer Earl Harvin (Seal, Jeff Beck), Thomas Moked Blum (Patricia Kaas), Haggai Cohen-Milo und Doron Segal. Während der zweitägigen Session nahmen Fink und die Band einige von Finks Lieblingssongs von Bowie und The Smiths, einige von Guys Lieblingsstücken von Soundgarden und Little Feat sowie einige von Finks eigenen Klassikern auf.
Aufgenommen und abgemischt wurde das Album in einem der ältesten Studios Berlins, dem Tritonus, in dem auch Nick Cave, Erasure, Element of Crime und viele andere ihre Platten gemacht haben. Die Aufnahmen erfolgten auf einer 2-Zoll 24-Spur Studer A827 und wurden auf einer Studer A80 ½-Zoll Maschine mit 30ips abgemischt. Später wurde die Platte in den legendären "AIR Studios" von George Martin in London gemastert und auf Lack geschnitten.
"Fink - The LowSwing Session" ist ausschließlich auf Vinyl und Tonband erhältlich. Das Album entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit Brinkmann Audio, einem High-End-Hersteller von Plattenspielern und Audiokomponenten der Spitzenklasse.
LowSwing Recordings werden analog auf Band aufgenommen und gemischt und dann direkt auf Vinyl geschnitten. Beim Mastering werden keine Computer, digitale Mischungen oder AD/DA-Konvertierungen verwendet. Das Album nutzt LowSwing's einzigartige Sammlung von Vintage-Equipment aus den 1960er und 70er Jahren, von denen viele nach den eigenen Anforderungen modifiziert wurden.

Connections: • Use only compatible amplifiers and cables that meet the speaker's technical specifications. • Avoid incorrect polarity connections to prevent damage to the speaker or amplifier. 4. Children and Pets: • Speakers are not toys. Make sure they are placed out of reach of children and pets. 5. Care: • Clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or water.
Cable:
1. Use: • Cables are for their intended use only. Use them only with devices that meet the cable's technical specifications. • Ensure that all connections are secure and tight for optimum performance. 2. Handling: • Never pull on the cable to remove it from a device. Always hold the plug firmly. • Do not bend, overstretch, or place excessive strain on the cable.
