Cardas Clear Sky Interconnect RCA-XLR
The CLEAR Sky brings CLEAR technology to a lower price point. The individual conductors are less fine than those of the CLEAR cables above it in the hierarchy, but are also wound around a Kevlar core. The cable uses PE air tubes for stability and has a braided metal shield. The two inner conductors are twisted around each other with the PE air tubes. For the XLR version, the shield serves as the ground conductor.
Despite the comparatively simple design, the significant advantages of CLEAR technology, with its transparent and natural sound, are fully realized. The vocals also naturally exhibit the Cardas-typical mellow. The cable is very flexible and can be used well even in difficult-to-reach positions. The CLEAR-Sky operates with somewhat less of the inner composure that characterizes the larger Cardas cables. It is ideal for entry-level systems that may not yet be considered "high-end," but already clearly distinguish themselves from the products of mass-market manufacturers.
