Im April 2023 ging der britische Sänger Fin Greenall aka Fink mit dem LowSwing Records-Produzenten Guy Sternberg ins Studio, um das aufzunehmen, was später als „The LowSwing Sessions“ (LOSW010-33) bekannt und zu einem Riesenerfolg, auch außerhalb der audiophilen Community, wurde. Die umjubelte Aufnahme öffnete die Tür zu einem Nachfolgeprojekt, an dem wieder viele „stellare“ Musiker beteiligt sind: Über drei Tage hinweg – im November 2025 – nahm Fink mit dem Bassisten Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie, Tedeschi Trucks Band), der dänischen Pedal-Steel-Virtuosin Maggie Björklund (Jack White, Calexico, Howe Gelb), dem gefeierten deutschen Pianisten Michael Wollny sowie dem niederländischen Schlagzeuger Nicky Hustinx und LowSwing-Gründer Guy Sternberg an den analogen Synthesizern in intimster Atmosphäre auf. Das Ergebnis ist eine Sammlung zutiefst persönlicher Neuinterpretationen von Songs von PJ Harvey, Jimi Hendrix, Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Morrissey und The Cure – gepaart mit Finks unverwechselbarer musikalischer Handschrift. Anstatt bekannte Aufnahmen einfach nachzuspielen, nähert sich die Band jedem Song als lebendige Komposition an und entdeckt dabei neue Räume, neue Dynamiken und völlig neue emotionale Perspektiven. Wie Fink in den Liner Notes zu „The LowSwing Sessions Vol. 2“ schreibt: „Der Moment, in dem alles gerade so richtig zusammenpasst und man aufhört zu denken und einfach nur spielt – und dann passiert das Besondere. Das Band ist Zeuge davon.“

Wie „The LowSwing Sessions“ und alle LowSwing-Produktionen entstand auch „The LowSwing Sessions Vol. 2“ vollständig analog, was das Album zu einer weiteren klanglich hervorragenden Veröffentlichung des Berliner Labels macht. Die nummerierte und streng limitierte Doppel-LP (140 Gramm, 45 U/min) wurde in den Emil Berlin Studios gemastert, von Sidney Claire Meyer auf Lackfolie geschnitten und bei der Schallplattenfabrik Pallas gepresst. Das Booklet enthält detaillierte Informationen über das Mischpult, Aufnahmeequipment sowie die Mikrofonierungstechnik und die eingesetzten Effektgeräte.

LowSwing Records ist ein junges Plattenlabel, das sich der Liebe zur Musik im analogen Format verschrieben hat. LowSwing-Produktionen werden auf Analogband aufgenommen sowie abgemischt und dann direkt auf Vinyl geschnitten – angetrieben von Respekt und Leidenschaft für puristische Aufnahmetechniken. Das Herzstück des Labels ist das LowSwing Recording Studio in Berlin (www.lowswing.de), wo sich der Eigentümer Guy Sternberg aufregenden neuen Künstler mit den Produktionswerten vergangener Zeiten widmet.

Children and Pets: • Speakers are not toys. Make sure they are placed out of reach of children and pets. 5. Care: • Clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or water.
Cable:
1. Use: • Cables are for their intended use only. Use them only with devices that meet the cable's technical specifications. • Ensure that all connections are secure and tight for optimum performance. 2. Handling: • Never pull on the cable to remove it from a device. Always hold the plug firmly. • Do not bend, overstretch, or place excessive strain on the cable. Cables should not run under heavy objects. 3. Children and Pets: • Keep cables away from children and pets as they can be a strangulation or injury hazard. 4. Inspection: • Check cables regularly for visible damage such as breaks, cracks, or frayed ends. Damaged cables must be replaced immediately.
Accesories:
1. Use: • Accessories such as adapters, mounts or cleaning utensils must only be used for their intended purpose. Incorrect use can cause damage. 2. Care: • Clean accessories only according to the manufacturer's instructions. Avoid harsh cleaning agents or use in damp environments. 3.
